Business Web Software Host Chinese Local Government Delegation with UK Trade and Investment
On the 7th of May delegates from 9 technology companies in Beijing arrived in Cambridge to learn from the UK ways in which their public services could be improved through the use of ICT. As the leader in China of Public Services via ICT and as the host of this year's Olympic Games, Beijing has an increased need to be able to deliver efficient and cost effective public services.
The trip was organised by UK Trade & Investment in partnership with East of England International and was hosted by Business Web Software. East of England International delivers UK Trade & Investment services and supports regional businesses seeking to win a share of the global market. They also give free and confidential help to overseas owned companies setting up or expanding in the UK. Business Web Software, leaders in the provision of browser-based eForms, eBooking and FAQ software to the Public Sector work with 30% of UK local authorities to transform the delivery and administration of online services.

Crown Prosecution Service uses AchieveForms as part of e-enablement
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is using AchieveForms as part of their e-enablement programme to move their internal paper forms to online alternatives.
The CPS has already begun moving their 300 plus paper-based forms online with the ambition of creating electronic versions of all internal forms. The e-enablement programme aims to reduce the time and effort it currently takes to process paper forms, to reduce costs and make management reporting simpler and more efficient.

London Borough of Enfield goes live with AchieveBookings for organisation-wide meeting room management
The London Borough of Enfield went live last month with the first stage of an exciting and ambitious project for introducing an internal room bookings management system across the whole council.
The council is introducing AchieveBookings as a single, joined up booking solution for the internal management of all their council's meeting rooms. This project will provide a modernised, more efficient system for the council and pushes the use of AchieveBookings to new and innovative applications.
